It does look a bit waxy upon closer inspection

Wishful thinking on my part, I like pine cones and art/crafts made from pine cones

  2. I like the green ornaments. Can I steal one?
    I sometimes do that.
I visit someone and take one of their ornaments. Then it reminds me of them.
    I ask, of course.

    It's a candle : )
But I also like pine cones. I never know what to do with them though.. they just sit there being pretty.

Ha, I like that. I do it with cutlery. I mean, I haven't done it many times, but I have a teaspoon or two that came from other people's houses..
They were a set of six vintage glass baubles, but I could only fit four on that twig before it started looking like it might topple over.
If you came all the way here to steal one, I would let you.

That confuses English people too.. it's bits of broken plastic fishing float/bouys that wash up on the beach.. strung up into "bunting" ..you know bunting? With triangles of fabric.

  7. Yeah, it's a good way to get different mismatch ornaments, plus they end up reminding you of people and time spent together.
I am not an idiot about it though, I always ask. And I wouldn't take anything that is expensive or meaningful to people.

Haha, I can bring you a teaspoon in exchange, if you'd like :p

    It looks interesting.
Never heard of that word before though.
    So thanks for that!

I am a bit weird about cutlery. I've lived with people and kept my cutlery separate. Same when I was home at my parents for a while. When I moved in with my fisherman I mixed up our cutlery.. Had to text my best friend and tell him about it, because that was major.

YES I KNOW almost 100% of people would be indifferent. So no, I didn't explain.

On the other hand, if I was dating a guy and he mixed up his CD collection with mine, which I would be indifferent to, but then he told me he normally wouldn't want to do that... I wouldn't be indifferent; I'd be like, thanks for the compliment.

I follow the commie principle naturally:

I got the outdoor lights done about 10 days ago.

My indoor decorating is slowly happening.

Today, I ended up lighting my indoor garland. Now, all I have to do is hang some ornaments on it if I want to.
