Well you need to help me then! I am a novice.....thats why I would not even think of using Crowley's Thoth Deck yet!
I think that is a fallacy. Firstly, according to what I have heard, your decks are attuned to you and it seems to me that you would have to cleanse a used deck with sage bundles or something....wouldnt you? To get rid of the past owners vibes, etc?
Oh okay. I was under the impression that when they said they had to be given to you it meant some old gypsy grandmother had to pass her Tarot cars along to you....not that I would buy a deck off Amazon and send them to you!
I keep the Rider Waite I have in a tarot card bag with a Pentagram on it. The Crow Tarot has this fancy box!
I have studied the Tarot (Rider-Waite) for years and was a reader at psychic shows for five years before Covid hit. Before Covid I was teaching a class on Tarot; Covid put a stop to that and I converted my syllabus into a book which I published. Now I am using that book as a text book for my new class. The next one will start in October for six weeks. I take Tarot extremely seriously, and I have a close connection with my decks which "speak" to me. I tell my students that Tarot is not a card trick, a game. I have stepped up to another level of Tarot which I am studying now.
I would love to hear more. I've had a deck for over 20 years but rarely had the opportunity to use it on anyone but myself. I've been thinking about diving deeper with it, as right now I haven't learned much past the book that came with it.
I now teach Tarot using a book I wrote on the subject. Used to go to psychic shows but Covid put a cobosh on that. I do private readings now, Teaching for me is a great way to set a standard to what I discovered, and eliminating confusion. There are many books on Tarot and a lot of conflicting information.
