Well incest may be illegal but talking about it on forums is not, and there's no rule that you have to be honest on the internet. I always thought silverhippy was joking about the incest thing... but it gets to a point where you have to tell people what's going on for everyone's safety and for the sake of honesty... we are real people who care about each other on this forum after all...

And no wonder all sidney's friends have run off, they may have only just realised "she" is actually an old man:ack2:

The UK forum has always been a bit different from the rest of hipforums, we're a fairly small community, many of us meet up and know each other in real life. At the same time this place has always had a very laid back moderating style, people don't get banned willy nilly or stopped from participating, a much fairer and more reasonable way of doing it is to just be completely open and honest rather than trying to micro manage everything, ban people and delete posts as some other forums do.... none of this has been about 'running people off' or 'cutting out the riff raff', silverhippy and whichever other identities he wants to use are still welcome to post within the guidelines, but I thought it was a good idea to tell people what we knew in this case...

 

you have been running ppl of by making this public, i see ur point in a way tho, i dont wanna see ppl banned "willy nilly" but if they believe in incest, my god, what more do u need???
there is minors posting here....i dont give a hoot if their parents do care, i do.and i know who is the innocent in the matter............

 

the only forum rule I see being broken is the part about posting in the same threads with multiple usernames (if they are the same person behind the curtain)

I would say a picture of Sidney with her old man would clear up a lot of doubt...but I never seen a pic of Silverhippy so I guess it wouldnt help anyways

i, for one, am glad you made us aware of the deceit going on Lithium... when i spoke to Silverhippy about incest, he came across as caring and sharing, in a nice way... now that i know that he moderates incest forums, and the rest, i'm glad i didn't share too much information with him... he wanted to know more about my experiences... i don't mind talking with allsorts, but i think it is right that i should be aware of who they really are if poss. and you made it possible for me and others to know exactly what we were dealing with... thank you :grouphug:
