Hey, SH and teepi-- I'm basically a good guy who has a lot of friends and makes new friends easily. Those that know me either love me or hate me-- in my experience, most of the ones that hate me either never took the time to understand me or were too hateful themselves. Don't get me wrong-- I can piss off the Pope, and perhaps that's the reason: sometimes I just like to bust balls and people are offended.

I think all of you should read my novel, "A Haven From Violence". It's available at www.amazon.com.

You all know AngelGodiva-- I'm an old cyber-space friend as well as a snail-mail friend. I sent her a copy of my novel--she loved it-- unfortunately, I can't give everyone a free copy-- I'm piss-poor. It's less than $20, buy it: I'll get about $4 royalties.

I truly love this forum, don't want to hurt anyone-- but, BY GOD!, don't take me so seriously.

After all, I drink considerably (though it usually doesn't affect my one-fingered typing), so when I post something outrageous, consider the cause.

    Love you all!

Mimosa: YOU come out and herd these cats: I can't even get those independent fur-tornados to come in when it's 10 degrees unless they feel like it. I truly believe they are from another planet or dimension.

And, teepi: Was Paul Gaughin(sp.) an influence? I hope so.

Mimosa, obviously you have been keeping secrets from me; that's not nice. Her art, what little bit I've seen of it, is entrancing.

As punishment, you have to come to my house and clean it.

Have you ever heard of the 12 Labours of Hercules when he had to clean the Aegean Stables?

He diverted a river. Are you prepared to emulate him?

I'll see you Saturday morning at 7 A.M. sharp.

"I've always valued eccentricity, and all my friends are freaks in their own right, but that's what makes it all so interesting! Damn I get tired of "cookie-cutter-people", y'know, the kind that conform to the mold, nine-to-fivers that have some pre-programmed lifestyle, live in their McMansions, mow their immaculate postage-stamp lots on Saturdays, drive their kids to soccer practice in their mini-vans, and get their news and entertainment from the rethuglican-owned networks, what happened to diversity?"

mellow yellow, very apt summary of people I am surrounded by, and may I add the ones I know are consumed by fear and loathing of ???? One is afraid that 4th of July or New Year's Eve bottlerockets will damage her new siding, one is afraid of my leashed dogs (gentle mutts) and that they will attack her children. the lawn freaks poison our lakes with their lawn chemicals and fertilizer. These people are so strange-thinking I cannot relate to them at all...thank the universe there are people somewhere who are not like that.

Thudly, Pennsylvania's too far...and I'm a terrible housekeeper, my motto: clean enough to be healthy, dirty enough to be happy (lots of pets too).

go see Teepi's auctions on ebay, but there's only one pic up now I think. good stuff.

    voided 37,
thanks so much for your input and websites. this person was brought on by one of the women registered with the website. she always gets involved with abusive, drug addicts and is proud of it. he totally ruined the website as it had been and she helped him by supporting him through the whole ordeal. it turned out that he had just gotten out of prison for a drug bust and was really angry and took it out on us. what upset me was that there were no moderators to stop him. i truly believe there has to be moderators when you are dealing with people from all aspects of life and all opinions. reminded me of when i was in bootcamp in the 80's. there were 40 of us women from all over the usa. we had skin heads, KKK, ex-cons, blacks and whites and everyone fought. if it hadn't been for the drill instructors, i don't know what would have happened. we were all locked up in the same dorm and man, did we fight it out. i am a total pacifist, but when i had 5 kkk women jump me and try to beat me up, because i was friends with the black women, i fought for my life and kicked some bootie that day. i'm just saying there's times when there needs to be a mediator, moderator, whatever.

Actually, Twain, I think, stealed it from Lord Chesterson-- so I've heard. Who gives a shit? The point I was trying to make, was that A.Hoffman never had an original thought in his frizzy-head. He was an useless gad-fly.

HA, ever wonder if it's they who are the aliens? It can't be natural to live that way...

I guess it's the "American Dream" to have an immaculate lawn, yet I'm one of the fortunate ones whos lawn can't be seen from the road or the neighbors. I practice an alternative form of landscaping I call "selective weeding". The weeds that grow in my yard are cool, so I let 'em grow, and pull out the ugly ones...I don't use chemicals at all on my lawn or garden because I see chemicals as sort of a credit card on Mother Nature, sooner or later it comes time to pay the price. My father used chemicals until he passed on many years ago, and I took over. The insects and weeds had become immensely resilient, but now after all these years of passive intervention they're no problem at all...

Damn, Thudley was right, these smiles show up different today, must have something to do with your browser. Now if only I could figure out how to post my namesake pic from my gallery into this post...hmmm, here goes...

I call the immaculate lawns "outdoor carpeting"...kinda pisses people with those kind of lawns off when I say it, but that is what it reminds me of...(I do try to not be TOO obnoxious ;) ) I don't like indoor carpeting either...putting fabric on a floor is just asking for trouble, if ya' ask me....with pets, kids, ketchup and all...but that's just my opinion... :H
