i need to learn how to wake before 1pm. i am high. i wish i owned a drum set. what happens if someone kills an american person abroad. will we go to war with those group of folks? who made these forums? and how do they keep them in such good order? muse is good. radiohead is better. i want candy. bubblegum and taffy... i wonder if anyone will reply. the violin is a cool instrument. i need more money, so i can buy more food. and pay my rent. that is all... for now.
hey miami musician, how old should a child be before she or he could play the saxaphone? aren't there two or three different sizes, and do you have a ballpark figure on what a used one would cost, that would be best suited for a 6 year old girl... she's small but spunky and hopefully I can afford to put one in her hands soon! thanks,
hmm... it's never too young to teach a child an instrument, unless she's like 2, which your kid isn't... i first learned to play when i was in 2nd grade, so i must've been around 6 or 7. the soprano sax is the smallest, the alto and tenor saxes are the next largest and the more popular ones. then the bari sax is the biggest, but i'm sure she won't learn that until later (if she sticks to it. ) not sure what one would cost, but i know it's a good thing for beginners (their parents, i should say) to rent instruments at your local music store. it's much more cost effective because you don't really need to own one at that young of an age. but i'm sure you can find a good deal on eBay or a local store if you want to buy one. hope that helped.
i'll start shopping for a soprano sax for her, my nephew is 11 and the sax is for my 6 yr old niece, could he play the soprano too, or would that be considered as 'sissyfied' for him? I'm giving him my Fender soon, but was wondering if he would even try to learn the sax too,. and yeah, thanks... that did help.
well all good sax players learn how to play all the saxes in the family, so i don't think that would be "sissyfying" him. it would just give him more experience, which can't hurt.
