Sorry Asmo, but this idea of "beating" other countries by electing the first female head of state is dumb.

The time to celebrate is when a country elects a leader who is competent and not corrupt.

Actually there were holes to put their arms through the barrels.

They also chained themselves to the barrels making it particularly difficult to separate the human from the 1600 lbs barrels

that's what people who depend on you depending on them, want you to believe.

countries and leaders aren't essential either.
social organization is required for infrastructure to exist, but that is all.
and even that doesn't require that it take the form of hierarchy.

 

The competition aspect was ment jokingly of course! The most competent person is always the better choice naturally. Although I have no idea how corrupt she might be or not. You?

 

Don't really know enough about her or Croatian politics to know.

 

Me neither, although there was a background story about her in the weekend supplement of a newspaper I read. It mentioned that the function of president in Croatia is for a large part a symbolic one (they also have a premier). But it didn't focus on corruption.
