    Whaaaaa, are you for real?
I mean, I've had zucchini before, and I bought from the people I always buy vegetables from.

    Hello,

yes. Zucchini, cucumbers, squashes etc. are poisonous. Through cultivating (is that the right term? I mean cross-overs, mutation, etc.) most species don't have much poison in them anymore. But as a hobby gardener you often produce your own seeds. Chances are that you are cultivating plants that have the poison back in them. That's what seemed to happen to the pensioner. As they said in the news, the zucchini tasted bitter. That was an indicator of the poison, but the unlucky man ate it anyways and died.

    Regards
    Gyro

    Interesting.
Well, mine wasn't bitter, and I ate it.

    Thank you for caring xD

    Hello,

    you are welcome ;).

Now that the last talk of the day is over, it's time to think about dinner. Nearby is a 'Yugoslavian' restaurant. They have all kinds of delicious grilled meat. I think that's where I will be for the rest of the day ;).

    Regards
    Gyro

    Hello,

it's an odd feeling if you attend a talk and the engineer delivers a great show, but you disagree with nearly everything she says ;).

    Regards
    Gyro

Made turkey burgers for the first time today. They were kinda bland, but a little ketchup and garlic salt fixed that. If only I wasn't getting tested, I would have added the ultimate smoked seasoning...

Welcome to Europe, oh you poor suffering soul.
But looks like you forgot your fashion accessories, sweet honey darling.
Doesn't matter, Germany's gonna pay for everything you need.

Also, big thanks to young American soldiers (I never thought I'd say something like that) who prevented French train massacre the other day.
Just another poor, good-hearted, misunderstood person from Maghreb, I guess.

That's interesting! And why there need to be background checks :p Just because this one seems to be an economic migrant doesn't mean others are as well of course. When that gets projected onto fugitives as a whole those who are not economic migrants are the ones who get misunderstood.
When some pay their last money to get to Europe and risk the possibility to die and see both grown adults and babies die along the way I have a hard time believing they're all just risking that to get an easier financial life.

Eh even Jihadi John was once a kid who came to UK, and got pretty much every opportunity he could wish for.
So why did he grow up hating the West and western society?
There's something wrong with the system, and the risk is just not worth it, imo.

I don't know why Jihadi John did what he did. But I don't see what it has to do with every syrian or african fugitive.

    Fuckin' Rednecks .............................

An Alabama cheerleading coach quit his post after showing up to practice wearing a T-shirt emblazoned with "The Original Boys in the Hood," under an image of a hooded KKK member and a burning cross.
Brian McCracken, the team's assistant vice president, wore the offending shirt to a North Alabama Youth Football & Cheerleading League practice in Boaz,
His friend, Brian McDowell, accompanied him, wearing a "White Pride" shirt.
Both men said their attire was a joke.
