Random Thoughts Thread #3

I rarely wear gloves unless it gets to about 0 F degrees. I have a pair in the pockets of each of my winter coats. I use my pockets to warm my hands up but for the most part don't wear gloves. Mostly I use them when I am clearing snow off the car. That is about it.

 

I am sitting here with my mouth literally hanging open. lol

I know you live in a significantly colder place than me. My hands, especially fingers about kill me sometimes...especially in the winter. I admire you and am jealous too.

I probably will be wearing gloves this week. It is 1 F degree out there now. I am sure when I am walking Grace I will need to wear them. Wind chills this week are due to be way below zero. Lots of single digit temperatures in the predictions for the week to come. The high temperature they are predicting for Sunday is 7 F.

 

I find it remarkable how often I see a lost glove laying around on the street during winter. It seems everybody loses one of their gloves at some point (and I can imagine they must just fall out of the coat pockets, so spectacles you have been warned )

 

What the heck is up with fingerless gloves? For fingerless peoples?

 

I may invent the "toeless sock" !!!! hey....why not?

 

What about the topless hat? For people who get too warm too easily.

Man.... it appears it has been invented already:

What the heck is an air gun? Does it shoot blasts of air? Why not just blow on someone instead?


I don't get it...

 

It shoots little bullets/balls with the use of pressured air.

well...is it just me? I mean "air" gun.

 

sometimes the air tools in garages are called Air Guns..

 

I'm one grumpy cow today.

 

Very handy if you're a smoker.

 

More likely it is from someone who had to take a glove off to do something that required dexterity and they dropped it. Since I rarely take gloves out of my pockets, they stay safe and warm.

 

I only have fingerless gloves/ arm warmers.

 

I already have some of those
