So sick of this fucking bull shit 80 degree perfectly sunny skys weather.

 

It is still snowing here since early yesterday.......
day off from exercising dogs for me!

 

cayenne pepper on eggs is da bomb!

 

the bomb is the big sheets of snow and ice that keep falling off the roof here in the sun today....

bang...sounds like the end of the world when they hit the ground.

i've always loved the snow. but preferably when it didn't involve my having to work outside in it. which fortunately, it usually didn't.

never much cared for cities. except as a way to not have to have a car. which is the only reason i live in one now.

cars and cities and snow, are a combination that makes me seriously question humanity's supposedly high intelligence.

cities in places where everyone gets heat stroke do too. well cities in general. and especially the combination of cities and cars.

which to not have to have a car is the only good reason i can see for wanting to have cities at all.

 

With another 12" plus of snow forecast locally on sunday we just might just make that 2 meters of snow

two meters being pretty close to 8 feet, 7 and a half i think, almost exactly, i once lived in a place in california that on the second of june we got that much came down in one night. we do have mountains in that state, and the northern half of it ain't all banana belt either. the summit of the pass where i lived, was over 7000 feet elevation. whatever that would be in meters i'm not certain. according to my little popup calculator function and using 3.9 as a rough approximation of a meter, i come up with something like 1790 something for elevation in meters. any way it does normally snow pretty good up there most every year. so when i here people talking about inches. well even inches are inconvenient for a car. but like i said, cars anyway.

 

With a record breaking 70 inches over the past 20 days and 1 inch expected today followed by predictions of over 12 inches on sunday we're going to get close.

I have plenty of colourful socks.. no plain black or white ones. And never a matching pair.

Well, people have to learn from their mistakes.

The best gloves are fleece and nice and tight, and usually very easy to lose. Another reason that patience is good to have if you want warm hands. (Of course, I'm speaking solely for myself here.)

I've also learned (like Ori) to buy the brightest (loudest and ugliest) gloves - when I actually find some I like.

There are also some cloth gloves I like but I wear the fingers out like they were made of a slightly better material than onion skin. :bomb:

I would lose a pair of black leather gloves in about 1 week - and I did! yay for freakin experience...Until the day I lost them for good, I'd lose them about 3 to 6 times a day. gad I was working as a helper on a construction site and the guys were even happy to help me find them. lol but that's the truth. (I lost them after leaving work.)

 

I tend to lose nice jewelry. I hate thinking of all the different nice real stones and gold I've lost. Earrings and necklaces and even a nice cigarette case. It makes me want to :bigcry: and and everything! :-O

^^^GLOVES :devil: made me think of that.

Dang losing stupid gloves, and thinking about needing some (even here in SC) more gloves soon.

Gloves are a necessity for me.
