What's up with "planet-smilies" ... it should be selfi*s instead. I assume that it's an inside joke or something
Oh, yay, this forum has started to be a little more active. I don't know, but it could have something to do with time zones.
^ Time zones, eh? ppl also spell differently depending on time zone, e.g: colour, color; generalize, generalise; etc.
Great News out of Boston we should all feel safe now...................... Two Iowa men each received two-year prison sentences Thursday after pleading guilty to charges that they brought an AR-15 rifle, a shotgun, and hundreds of rounds of ammunition to the Pokemon World Championship at the Hynes Convention Center in Boston last summer. James Stumbo, 28, and Kevin Norton, 19, were both charged with unlawful possession of the guns and ammunition. As part of a plea agreement, Stumbo pleaded guilty only to possession of the rifle, and Norton only to possession of the shotgun. Both pleaded guilty to possessing about 300 rounds of ammunition. The men, who have already been jailed for nearly a year, will alsohave to serve two years of probation. Hotwater
Interesting. So did that unlawful possession depended on a lack of a permit/licence? If so could they have gotten that with hindsight? And if so would there have been no problem at all if they would went with all that weaponry to that Pokemon event as it would be lawful? If I was there and I saw 2 guys legally with all that shit I probably would have left or at least taken a big stroll...
Did something change in the code? I'm seeing dark blue font for the post count. lol has that always been this color?
Those two guys both living in their parents basements apparently made online threats to do harm but after being interviewed by the FBI determined these guys were pathetic misfits who couldn’t hurt a fly so pleaded guilty on weapons charges. Hotwater
The dual monarchy. Empress Sissi is always my first association with that. Probably due to the movie(s)
I don't remember seeing any movies, but I remember books. And this painting, I remember being impressed by it when I was a child: And an episode of Kommissar Rex, where a woman was obsessed with Sissi. Oh and your little coat of arms is just a tiny part of my big one
I was kind of a sucker for Transylvania Some intriguing history. Well, the dual monarchy on itself and other surrounding countries has mighty intriguing history as well, but I just took notice of Siebenburgen earlier!
When I ask myself if I believe in an afterlife, the answer is no because one can neither believe nor disbelieve, honestly, in something that has no definitive answer. Then I ask if I believe this is the only life to be lived, and the answer is no for the same reasoning. From a purely logical train of thought, how can this contradiction exist and still abide the rules of critical thought? This doesn't make sense, how can you believe in something by proxy if you don't believe in it right out by logic?
why not? i think that's pretty much the whole point of belief. if there's a definitive answer, you don't believe it, you know it.
