when I woke up this morning there were very long trails following moving objects, especially brightly colored ones. Not too unlike having dropped a tab or two of L. Of course it went away after I "woke up" completely .. I suspect it had something to do with being awoken in a certain stage of sleep where there's probably lots of DMT being secreted in the brain.

I have had animals all my life. We have a pet cemetery...yes, an actual pet cemetery. I outline their graves with (carefully selected) stones and with the same care I put their initial or initialS or in my precious Jack's case, I have his name in little stones in the center of the outline.

If I could I would like to be laid out there with them, outlined with rocks and just put my L initial.

Dang if I want to be thrown in a dumpster.

I KNOW I will be dead and (supposedly) won't care but eons of people apparently feel like I do... wanting to be buried. I don't really want to be embalmed and would prefer to just be laid to rest (buried) in a day or 2. However, I will be buried in the family plot and embalming will be part of the legal picture.

i have a deck of index cards, i'm always adding to it. on each card i write one thought. then i shuffle them like you would a deck of playing cards. those are what i would call random thoughts.

    here's an example:

1> her shape changing children must probably be running around somewhere.
2>and for all that it could only be temporary, he would still need to locate a source of water
    3>markata (farmer's/flea market)
4>"what on earth is that?" he asked, as the mysterious loud thumping resumed
    5>"can you understand the words?"
6>nothing that he did seemed to change the situation that he was drifting inexorably southward above a s seemingly limitless ocean. he could rotate to his heart's desire. raise and lower his elevation, these worked. the control indicators told him they were all working. obviously something wasn't.
7>certainly there was something strange about the place. many things actually.
8>twinkle twinkle little star, oh so bright and oh so far. around you circles just like me, someone who's sun is the star i see.
9>off they set, fallowing the watercourse downstream along its ever widening banks, where the going was easiest.
a>the otter, having helped pull in the net, passed around long twigs that had been sharpened on one end. then the badger passed around the fish.
b>the slanting rays of the morning sun brought a cheerful brightness
c>the street was neither wide nor straight. yet in some sense, less visible to the eye then the heart, street it was.
d>"that would be fun" he replied. "but cat or not, i'm still curious to meet the others"
e>the office door was closed, leading him to feel disinclined to trouble at that moment, senior administration whom he could always approach at some more conducive time. instead he went to see what students might be doing on the enclosed quad.
f>he didn't know if he'd remained undetected, or if the others were merely being cautious or considerate, though he suspected the latter more probable then the former.

I had a nickname Cynical once. Friends used to call me Cyn, short for Jocyn which was short for Jocelyn.

She really is gorgeous. And I don't mind the accent and the way she talks in small doses :D
I'm fond of her irl husband.

Phil and Cam are the real Modern Family stars anyways :D

The bigger one makes me laugh, Cam I think. I actually like the dorky little sister/daughter.
They're so much older in episodes now though, I must have skipped a few seasons and now that ugly son/brother, he's like shot up big time.

This has always been my awake time. I usually wake up around 10pm and I might go to sleep in the afternoon at some stage for a few hours. Ever since I worked behind a bar like a decade ago I've always preferred the night life. I believe it's much more romantic, better people are out at night too. It's peaceful, crisp.. it's the best. :)

Maybe you ment to cover it with 'crisp' but as a metalhead don't leave out the grim and frostbitten aspect in this season!
