Hubby and I painted the kitchen ceiling today....

 

I took all the parts I wanted off that car I bought a few days ago and then towed it in for recycling and got back more money than I paid for it.

 

planted some corn, peas, lettuce and basil in some raised beds today and finished a side table.

 

Cloudy and rainy here today.....I have to clean the house so it doesn't matter...

 

Its nice here...the hummingbirds are all over my apple tree...I'm going to cut the grass (first time this year)

 

the sun came out....Hey BBAD how tall was your grass? I need to work in my strawberries but I hate weeding them....weeds are takin' them over...

 

and which of the 26 mowers and tractors did you use?

 

Not MY grass...jeeze...nobody pays me to cut my own

I sold most of my mowers...I only have two left..both over 6hp...I think Ill keep them...and the tractors are more for fun..theres too much junk to slalom.

Are strawberry plants worth having considering the work? I'm thinking of getting some.

I built a garden bench today and bought 8 tomato plants for my garden.

 

We got over an inch of rain in 20 minutes. I hate thunderstorms...

If you really like strawberries, their worth the work.

 

I'm definitely getting some then. How big is your garden?

 

We have 20 tomato plant, 4 pepper plants, two rows of green beans, two rows of corn, but we'll put a few more rows of corn out in a week or so, and three rows of potatoes.

 

I dont have a garden but I till one and get it ready for an old friend every year...I love using tillers

 

Wow, that sounds like it's pretty good size. I got some green bean seeds today too, but my garden's not big enough for them. Looks like I'm going to have to make more raised beds. My garden's already 4 times bigger than last year. Probably still smaller than yours though.

 

I spent 10 minutes, literally, trying to log on here tonight. Then I realized I was using my school i.d. :/

 

There was a cat fight outside my bedroom window last night around 3:30am...hubby didn't even hear it....I think he could sleep through anything....

I need a dry sunny day so I can mow my yard...ok it doesn't have to be sunny, just dry....
