The Stones did the same thing with the tremoloed vocals more than a year before on their "Satanic Majesties Request" album, so it wasn't really innovative when TJ and the Shondells did it.
I didn't know that. Which song was that? I remember Two Thousand Light Years From Home and She's a Rainbow, both of which I liked....but I don't remember the tremolo vocals.

I have listened to the whole album...I used to have it when it first came out but that was a few years ago, so I don't remember the whole thing. But I always liked it the best out of the Stone's work also, except maybe their first two singles. Yeah, you're right I hear the tremolo....I assume that's what it is. I wonder how they did it in contrast to Tommy James. Comparing the two songs, Crimson and Clover is much better in my opinion.
