Ugh, the thought of that disturbs me so much. We have HUGE grinders at work, there's no fucking way I'm touching them.

When I was in high school a friend of mine worked at the local deli in town. One day while cleaning it it somehow started up and parts of his hand slipped in. It messed it up pretty bad. It was all gnarled for awhile. It's still busted up but he can partly use it. Just the thought of how it would feel while paramedics remove the still connected pieces of your hand from the steel blades... uke:

 

mine was this kind of grinder...it might leave a notch lol ..i taped it up pretty tight though to try and get it to heal right

i have a scar on my left middle finger from a previous accident a long time ago where I got right to the bone lengthwise with a thin stainless cutting disc

 

Forgive my (perhaps) ignorance, but is that not a handheld sander?


You do know we have free health care right, you can get that finger fixed for free

I was making a tool to strip industrial coax cable

I have multiple thousands of feet of it to strip and want to do it efficiently

 

Fact- What is coax cable and why are you stripping it?

think cable tv wire but much larger and a lot more copper...with heavy copper shielding..a much larger center conductor and the dielectric is foam without the usual foil
