Just watched Michael Palin's 'Pole to Pole'. Was very good.

 

iTunes decided to delete everything on it, so I have spent the night having to put everything back

 

fill it up again and check for leaks..if you're lucky it may be a hose ...but generally when the belt is throwing coolant everywhere that means water pump..check the water pump pulley with the belt tension removed...it should not move and theres a small hole under the puller where the bearing is...use a small mirror and see if its leaking out the hole

 

fuck..i always do that...make a big assed post and it goes on the bottom of the page...2 seconds later some dude with a girls haircut comes along and posts and the page flips...nobody ever goes back to see what they missed ....damn you being,,,:mickey:

 

I am glad you made it home. That stretch is deserted, you can go miles and see no cars or houses. I always hated that drive at night.

I see you got some help.......but you might want to wait until tomorrow to play with it as it is suppose to warm up a little. Tonight is bitter cold. Your hands will freeze in minutes.

i got some good exercise today and now i feel great.

 

thank you...i was dreading this....because it stopped pretty quick after i shut it off i had thought it might be the pump...i did not know they can leak..i thought they just stop pumping....could mean a trip to the wrecker

i didnt notice the part where you said it stalled on its own

that could be bad if it quit because the coolant had got too low

 

I will personally go back and have a read of it now... sure it's poetry.

i mis-spoke..it was me that shut the truck off after checking under the hood..it was running normally till then other than what i described[idled fine]
