I am tired but happy!

I cooked my two extra turkeys today and made 3 Tourtieres.

The house smells great!

 

I didn't have any turkey this year, had some goods from M&M's instead

 

im not happy actually. This one the first days ive had the incredible pains in my arm. where I should be feeling better from not smoking tobacco I just feel worse .. obvious that my neighborhood disease is effecting me, cause you cant break away from the dying without feeling sick yourself.. you have to wonder how rocky did it in a filty town like philly.. well it is just a movie. maybe they could do a billy mays movie and see how he got out of mckees rocks with his loud voice ,, only to die another fucking crackhead..

Did you miss having Turkey?

I still have to cook a 27 pound one tomorrow and a ham.

 

Don't give up. When I quit I really felt like crap for weeks. Everyone kept saying I must feel good now and I was ready to punch them in the mouth.

Possibly withdrawal!

 

No, I didn't miss having Turkey, I'm not big on Christmas to be honest. I had a great time with my immediate family, that means the most to me.

Good golly woman, a 27 pound turkey, that's one big bird!


Orison, I'm sorry to hear that you're not feeling well, I'm somewhat under the weather as well. It sucks, but I'm just trying to forget about it.

 

Time with family is what it is all about.

I did two 25 pounds ones today so that we all have leftovers. A turkey sandwich is better than dinner.

The big one will be hot for dinner, so we will all gobble.

 

Mmm, that sounds good. I love turkey sandwiches. That's the one thing I'll miss about not having a bird this year.

 

There is something so decadent about one! Lots of pepper and it is good to go.

I actually saw in the store that they were selling just a big turkey breast so maybe you can get one and still gobble!

 

Next Monday is the big family dinner, so I'm bound to consume some turkey one way or another this holiday season. I'm fortunate in that I never go without getting some of that bird throughout the Christmas season.

 

That will be a nice time to be all together. Especially if there is turkey!

I am heading for bed as tomorrow is going to be busy.

Im the only one in my family that loves chunky cranberries on my turkey (not the jelly..I like the one with berries still in it)

 

I enjoy cranberry juice, I'm not a big fan of the sauce though

 

I stock up on canada dry cranberry gingerale before they sell out ..I wish theyd sell it year round

 

My brother always says that. He loves that stuff as well. It's really good.

 

Ok./. 1/2 hour into xmas, lets get this show on the road people, we got a deadline to meet!!!
