looks like Atlanta is down the pan.... now moving to Seattle instead :) we both prefer the cooler climate and the music scene... the only downside is, it's going to take longer.... no point in moving to Atlanta, then Seattle...

Seattle is nice, a bit on the dreary wet side, but you may be used to that tho! Did you all consider Asheville, NC? It has a great music scene, but a bit over priced I thought....Good luck where ever you end up though....;-)

yes, considered Asheville, (it's lovely there) but his ex-wife needs a job and Seattle has loads! i like the lush forests, temperate climate and mountainous terrain surrounding it... the only downside is that it is almost, or maybe bang-smack on, the san andreas fault line... thanks farmout :)

BIG coffee drinkers in Seattle... big gas guzzlers too but all that greenery that surrounds it must help neutralize some of that carbon monoxide...

    [IMG] Good decision.

    Well yeah, earthquakes...

I used to live in So. Cal. I put eyescrews into the backs of tall shelves and wired them to eyescrews in the wall studs, to keep them from falling over or traveling too much during earthquakes. Of course, in a really strong earthquake, that would be totally useless...the Japanese had the right idea, building houses with paper walls in the old days - less damage that way. Probably not up to the Seattle building codes however. ;)

    farmout-real nice Taylor/Young videos.

Definitely brings back some nice mellow memories.
Just a hunch, but I'm willing to bet the farm that James Taylor was pretty buzzed also.
