I'm in a silly mood.

 

I just hiked a couple of miles out in the cold.......Warmed up fast though with all these hills....;-)

 

snowblower total cost...$100..+ a $50 good used engine + 2 hours labour

= sold for $700 cash

 

just finished watching the blackheath fireworks display from my balcony with my grandaughter, daughters, son-in-law (kinda) and m'mum.... it was a good display as usual, but i missed most of it serving food to the minions... we just about to have some pud.... choc brownie cheesecake and/or apple crumble with custard and/or double cream.... i'm full

p.s. oh and two words to Tipsy and IB.... Onion and Thyme Soup!

 

i made bacon wrapped honey dates for desert

 

we have that with our turkey/meat at christmas.... but prunes instead of dates... i think they are called devils on horseback.... angels on horseback are oysters wrapped in bacon...

 

us too at xmas..but my son loves them and is constantly wanting me to bake some up:mickey:

 

Homemade veggie soup with homemade fresh bread for din din here.... Brought over by three cute hippie girls from a farm about 7 miles away......Life is grand @ times here in the neighborhood......;-)

 

I had a fantastic day with my niece. The little cherub keeps me young!

Im having burgers...while sitting in front of a fan...Im soaked with sweat from pounding nails into plywood...my floor is almost done...my buddy called and said he cant come until tomorrow...so Im hoping my walls and roof get done by him because hes a pro framer and knows what hes doing

i've done that too because i love them.... sweet and savoury flavours ROCK!!! the only sweet/savoury thing i haven't liked so far was when my half sister brought me some candied crabs from hong kong.... they sounded nice but tasted foul... :ack2:
