communuicating with times....the forum I came from never counted the hour, as it is different all over the world, so in their language...you would be 4218...as you count the negative space, too, with 18 mins left to go on the hour, so you may want to say you are something else now....lol...

I am none of the above....I don't communicate in times.

Si i open the washing machine door to load up, and its full of stinky water, i mean full, so i put the dial to drain, it doesnt drain.
I put the dial to spin, it doesnt spin.
So i start a was cycle, it just clicks over.
So i kick it, it starts to fill, the smell is like a pond in spring, yukkkk.
So it starts to empty, stink the house out, and then spins..
I clean it, amd put my load in...it fills, turns, then stops...my washer is broke! Grrrrrrrr

i feel lost out in purple land tonight...not exactly happy...not exactly sad...I don't know what I am....what is that feeling?...lost, maybe....or discombudulated....lol

fills...washes then wont drain/spin dry usually means lid switch

 

just fills and no agitation usually means timer mechanism

 

What does it mean if a washer won't spin on regular cycle but will on delicates?

delicates is a completely different part of the timer assembly so id say your problem is most likely the timer assembly...



you should be able to check the lid switch easy with a pen...just push the switch and you should feel a definite click click ....and make sure the switch mount isnt broken...sometimes the mount breaks and the lid doesnt push on it right
