I have great ventilation. I eat a lot of lentils, spinach, and beans. Ask my lady. In fact, I know that my ventilation is great. One might say, over active...

We remembered to set our clocks ahead right away this year. Last year.. More than one of them remained unchanged for a good six months after daylight savings day..

It's super destructive. I studied them and their effects on trees. We're losing/have lost most of our ash here to them. It's really unfortunate.

This property could have been 50% ash woodland 20 years ago, just from what I'm seeing. The rest oak, maple, some fruit trees and evergreens. The ash trees are wiped out, many of the big oaks are gone, the house used to be surrounded with huge old growth oak trees... Maples are struggling, Asian Longhorn Beetles in the pines, some fungus attacking the cherry trees...

It's like our forests are dying...

    Wait! They are. :(

I seem to remember being told that people are trying to breed ash that will be (hopefully) resistant. Breeding ash with another species. Problem with this is, like our immune system in regards to virus', the virus (or tree pest) then has the opportunity to evolve. I.E. Destroy more trees of another species.

An odd quote, but a good one; Ian Malcolm from Michael Crichton's Jurassic Park..
"Because the history of evolution is that life escapes all barriers. Life breaks free. Life expands to new territories. Painfully, perhaps even dangerously. But life finds a way."
