i came up with an idea for a sign bracket that a client needs.. i got excited for a minute i came up with such a good idea. instead of thinking like a metalworker or tinkerer i came to it from a different angle. its stripped down, simple, the very least it needs to be functional, and yet displays a knowledge of design and engineering. the whole thing will be held to the wall with only one screw.

 

I've run into numerous problems lately in the darkroom. For one, incandescent (spelling?) bulbs are blacklisted here now. That means needing to find LED replacements that will and will not emit certain spectrums of light.

As well, my condensor gives off extra light through the heat vents, condensors get very hot, and many recommend covering with black felt. Problem is, I can't block the heat vents, it'll overheat and felt is flammable, so I constructed this thing that looks like one of those cones a dog wears around its neck after a procedure. I'm testing that tonight.

Thirdly, where to store my spent chemicals. They contain silver and can't all just be dumped.

 

some communities have drop off sites for harsh household chemicals waste. such as paint and solvents.

 

I have been on this website for over half a decade. And during my time here I have never had a completely empty Online friends list...until tonight... First time. What a lonely feeling.

Then, as I refresh the page one name shows up, GLENGLEN. My white knight. The beacon in my night. Ol GLENY comes checkin in from down under. And suddenly I feel the warmth of friendship and comedy.

Thing is though, I've made a point of befriending unemployed narcoleptics so that I always have friends online.

We are friends Moonglow. Our friendship is real. We don't need internet invites in order to confirm the special bond we have with each other. Our bond supersedes such petty social interactions.

Ironically, those are the exact words my girlfriend muttered when I asked if she wanted to go steady.

 

I'm watching more WWII documentaries. It really has made me grateful for the English. They fought so hard for us. For all the allies. The English were hardcore motherfuckers. Thank you Britain, for kicking ass throughout World War 2.
