random facts the boring edition

Back in Flagstaff again. :freezing:

The crows are cool on this side of the NAU campus that I'm working on this time around (new dorms).

I was walking to the jobsite after lunch and a giant ass crow was just standing there in the parking lot looking at me as I walked by.

Three or four steps to the left and I would of walked into him.

I think he's the same one I saw last week in the back of one of the carpenters pick-up trucks as I was walking by, chowing down on the poor guys lunch that he'd left in the bed (in a plastic bag), lol.

I didn't try to shoo him off, so I guess we're cool now.

I'm glad they don't get any bigger than they do, or I could be on thier menu.

 

mentioning crows, this is kinda interesting.. I was watching them out the window , when I watched for a while, opened the window, closed the window and everything was fine .. I made a gun with my fingers behind foggy winter glass and they flew away..
now today I had waffles left over from yesterday and they was really hard. I broke them apart and tossed them off the porch at the crows. they flew like ninja stars and it landed in the snow.. the crow picked it up and how they toss their heads from side to side. he tossed it and it hit the another crow in the face. I lold..

 

today is Shrove Tuesday, aka Pancake Day

ima gonna cook me up some pancakes with sugar and freshly squeezed orange, yum

 

im gonna celebrate too. but instead im just gonna have bacon.

 

waffles again but no birds today.. its garbage day on the other side of town, so I understand..

 

When I put the cat food out the blue jays eat what the cat doesn't...

 

I got a new shower curtain and rug today. They are both black.

 

I just yawned

 

That's not so random...

 

I'm gettin' sleepy...watching CSI...

 

For the lack of random, the extreme boring makes up for it

ive some cardinals that pick out certain pieces and they wait for me. If I dont put the food out they will sit on the porch and scream.

 

I was walking to my lunch area at work and when I looked up I saw a crow descending straight at me like a plane getting ready to land.

My first thought was that it was about to bomb me with poop, so I did a quick duck and dodge maneuver.

It didn't poop, it was just coming into the area anticipating food scraps, I'm sure. Scared me for a second there, it did.

 

i was about to say i dont like birds when i realized i have two chickens. honestly i dont like them either.
