At least you can put clothes on to keep warm.

Try working outside in the desert when it's 120 degrees.

That's what I've been doing for many years.

How many clothes can you take off to stay cool at work? Not too much.

what kind of work do you have to do in 120 degrees?
I couldn't do it. I feel for you.

I install air conditioning systems (HVAC). I was on a roof for 10 hours when it hit 122 here in Phoenix.

I had to sit in the shade for 30 minutes before I felt comfortable to drive home.

    It's a living.

I should of stayed in school, lol.

i saw an interesting article about the 10 highest populations in the usa before the air conditioner (there was one in the south if i remember correctly) and the 10 highest populated cities after the air conditioner was invented (there was 3 in the north if i remember correctly)

sure i can, its not me that bothers me so much about living in a place that goes from 0 to 100 depending on the season. its the fact that shit freezes...mainly pipes but also other stuff like motors and hoses and drinks and roads and windows and cats that climb up under your tire for warmth.

the heavier the items you wear, the more energy youll need to move around. being cold like that , exerting energy creates sweat, sweet makes u cold..
90% my winter stuff is light, very little weight to it.
hunting/ snow suit is quilted, the lighter the items under it, the easier it is to move around and not over heat.

Im undecided about the shoes. some boots make my feet sweat, leads to cold. some tennis shoes are to airy and thats cold too. so I just switch back and forth/change socks often to prevent sweat, youll stay warmer that way..

if your sweating because of the energy it takes to move around in a heavy jacket but not in a regular jacket then something is wrong with your body.

These are my random fact(s) for the day:

When you eat edibles only, you will eventually grow a tolerance. Then it (the tolerance) may suddenly disappear, only to reappear again.

The tricks are to #1 wait and see and then #2 have another available if needed.

    I don't need another one. :D

I just came home from walking Grace at the park. A lady, who also lives in the building, and her two kids were walking up to the building ahead of me. The lady and one kid went into the building and the second kid (maybe 12 years) had their dog on the leash and was letting it shit on the sidewalk up to the building. As she started to walk away I told her to pick up the shit. I took a plastic bag out of my pocket and handed it to her and had to explain how to pick it up. The mother came back out of the building and I went off on her and the kid for not picking up after their dog. It makes any of us who have dogs look bad if anyone else lets their dog crap on the sidewalk or front porch. I realize that there is a lot of snow out there but it is so inconsiderate not to pick it up. I always pick up Grace's shit and certainly don't want to step in someone else's crap just trying to get in the building.

    I am still ticked off.
