the first time I saw a rooster pounce on a hen I thought he was trying to hurt her....I ran in the house to tell my daughter....she says ''dad thats how chickens do it...its normal'' for anyone who has never seen it...the rooster jumps on the back of the hen and pins her head down to the ground with his beak while he does his thing...a few pumps and its over....... it looks violent to the unprepared eye..... whole scenario takes maybe 5 seconds.... often if there is a second rooster it will wait for the first rooster to finish and then jump on for sloppy seconds
at 5 months old a rooster can crow loud enough and often enough to be heard well over a kilometer away.....I hear roosters on a farm on the next road over....way over 1k....they have to hear mine too..... they start from inside the coop well before daybreak and then periodically throughout the day for long periods today my egg with breakfast was still warm from being laid 30 minutes earlier
took me a second to get this but goddamned once I did it made me giggle nevermind the waffles....whats going on with the missing and possibly dead uncle?.the one you are not very close to but seem worried about? did the grand daughter reply?....my guess is she didn't think facebook was the way to stay close to a dying relative......generally people actually go the hospital?.....update please
I often think there are a few nuts on here, that live on a totaly different planet! I still think it!! You guys are off your trollies!
My planet was destroyed 64.7 million years ago. I've been here (on your planet) since then, conducting science experiments. RF;BE: I've had Mexican food three times in a row in the last 24 hours. No heartburn whatsoever to report..
