I eat dairy and eggs, but other than that my diet is pretty much vegetarian. I have a huge repulse for meat (I eat fish and seafood once in a while though). It's funny cause when I invite people over for dinner, they don't realize right away I don't give them meat ahahahah I always think it's funny when they realized they had a nice fulfilling meal with no meat products.

Yeah, same way here, you won't find the aminal parts here, but still filling tasteful meals that didn't require any lives to be taken. Not to mention the horrible stuff you are ingesting that was used to fatten up that poor animal. Its a personal choice, and I have no problem with those that eat meat, but they should visit a slaughter house once in their life to experience what happens to those steaks and cheekin legs they eat!.....:)

Ahahah yeah! I remember my parents were raising chicks and ducks when I was a kid and they were slaughtering them themselves, it was sooooo disgusting. :ack2:

I have seen it....in fact we sometimes do our own butchering right in the backyard ....mostly moose, bear and partridge...sometimes deer.

I saw that too from my parents again ahah! They were hunting moose, hare and partridge. Most of the time they brang the moose to a butcher, but they were making the rest of the butchering at home. That meat was good, so tasty, firm and healthy, unlike the mass-produced meat you find at grocery stores. I can't stand it, the texture and taste are gross.

I live next to fields with free range cattle. Soooo much better conditions and heathier cattle than conventional grain fed operations.

Here the weather is way warmer than a few days ago. But still, it's fall. The sun is shining, the air is fresh, the leaves have turned to yellow, red and orange, pumpkin and squash are now on sale, as well as halloween costumes and club-size boxes of candy and chocolate bars. We had our first frost like a week ago, but now it's warm enough to go out with a hoodie. Go figure.
