............i'm missin my grandkids....they stopped late last night on the way back to the island for a 10 minute visit...basil started with the 'yabba dabba doos'....cheered me up a little

random fact...the island officially opened the wind farm yesterday..here is a link to the Kingston Whig Standard article if any one is interested...the islanders are apparently severely divided about the turbines...people that have been living together for 40 and 50 years...Kristyn has 4 less than a kilometer beside her house and about 20 more that are farther that she can see....86 on the island in total...i will post pics or a link to shots of her house as soon as i can...its really secluded but in the middle of cattle pastures on all sides...i'm jealous

personally I believe that whoever pays the taxes on the land gets to do what they want...farmers can still farm with turbines going...if they dont like the obstructed view then they should have bought more land themselves
