Sometimes, you need help in order to be able to help yourself!

    True that!

RF: the landlord sent someone today to repair the bathroom sink. The plumber found out after a bit that said sink has been there for decades and never had any part changed, so it was litterally rusted from side to side at some places and about to fall apart. What was supposed to be a minor repair turned out big, as he has to come back next week to change the whole thing.

The good side: a brand new sink, which will probably look better than the old one. The bad side: major repairs = highly inconvenient, especially with the pets. The score is even at least.

She certainly has enough support, one would think. But yes, she needs to try to take responsibility. It can take a long time to change habits of thinking...speaking from experience. And you need to want to change. That's the hardest part. It often requires hitting bottom - sometimes bottoming-out multiple times.

I've got one just like that if not the exact same stove... (they all come out of the same factory in China, they just put them in different boxes) In order to use LP fuel it has to be a 100 pound tank, (which I can't physically haul around anymore) not the 25 pound tank like a BBQ grill has. Otherwise I would just hook it up if it would work with the smaller tanks.

I'm not going to give Columbia Gas the satisfaction of reconnecting natural gas, phuck that, so that stove looks like it's going to sit this winter out. It did take the edge off the cold last year but I still had ice on the insides of my windows and it was a moderately warm winter last year.

Thanks for looking that up, man... appreciate it. :2thumbsup:

but the gas company doesnt have feelings....no single person will be doing back flips because tyson finally buckled under......dont you think it would be wiser to try and get the refund once you are hooked up?...all it takes is getting the right person on the phone

besides...you could rack up your bill to about a grand and then tell them to fuck off...at least you get some warmth

what if this winter is as bad as last was mild?
