Its foggy here this morning...

Two of my grandkids will be spending the night...

 

nice out today..but a bit windy

i had lunch alone at the lake

heard the sailboats sails snap a few times when the wind caught them...kind of made me want to try that someday

 

been on the phone with the cable company for over 45 mins trying to figure out my t.v I have shows on soapnet I record in the middle of the night and when I wake up to watch them it will say to keep viewing this channel click OK and it switches over to the weather channel. so when it's recording it will be on the weather channel instead of soapnet. I play the tape and it will say to keep viewing this channel click OK and then it's on the weather channel. it's pissing me off because the shows I record I like to watch them everyday when I work out

I have been in bed for 2 days due to allergies.

I am at a complete loss as to what to do. Every ounce of energy in my body has been depleted...ugh!

I better feel better tomorrow...I pick up my ice cream truck!

I've always thought I'd love to learn to sail.

I always thought sailing looked fun for other people...I've always felt like I'd be the one the thing would swing around and knock in the head, tossing them unconcious into the water or caving in their skull. But I have enjoyed watching sailing.

I have discovered this timed typing test site - that does not require one to "upgrade" their Adobe Flash Player or whatever. I did TRY to upgrade my AFP and after TWO HOURS and it was Still Upgrading, I said *%#@! (and clicked X) Then...I found this other site and I'm becoming addicted. I don't know how many times I've taken their WPM test today. lol

 

Sailing is fun. We have one of these and it can be fun but very soggy when you don't manage to keep upright. I have lost a lot of lunches that way and now it gets tied onto the rigging so that at least we eat when we dry off.

I am not always the best at reading the current so it just happens.

 

That's got to be loads of fun, Heather!

 

It really is and it can be intense if you want it to be or you can just drop the front sail and float about and enjoy the water and the sun.

I did not get out last summer at all but I plan to this year. Mia and Kieran started to really learn how to sail it last year with Paul (Dad) so I am looking forward to getting out with them and seeing how they manage.

I am not as good at it as Paul (ex) is but it still is fun.

 

Oh, yeah...the kids sailing will be awesome for you!

I'm dog sitting for 2 weeks in September, last time I did I woke up to find the dog had puked
and shat all over the house, I really hope that doesn't happen again :ack2:

I fed him his usual food, I think he just had an attack of nerves from his owner being away

 

my cousin chris has a sailboat. took it out on Erie and I fell overboard from a wave roll. they never took me out again. but it had more to do with me not being a sports fan than the boat.
