Today is meant to be very hot. I'm not looking forward to it.

 

me neither.... i'm gonna get myself stocked up with water, lay under a big shady tree, shut my eyes and listen to all the sounds i can hear.... that's something i CAN look forward to where this weather is concerned...

 

Me too. As long as there is a shady spot, I will be happy. Not liking the health warnings for the nights though. Think I might sleep outside too.

 

^^i haven't heard them, not having tv/radio etc.... will Google it... have two large fans anyway, so if it's anything to do with heat, we should be ok...

My weather site says high of 25 C in London today - hmmm, I think I want to live in a place where that's considered hot...we've got 31 C hereabouts - even with A/C on the train my shirt was soaked in the back when I got off.

 

I've been in my mid-life crisis for the past 20 years...

 

I just checked and it's 30

And I think if someone feels hot, then they feel hot. It doesn't matter if somewhere else it is hotter.

 

No ones suffering is special.

Tipsy, I'm sure you DO feel hot, though I've never had the opportunity to check that out for myself...and I certainly didn't mean to belittle your suffering...I'm just sayin that I would be pretty happy with 25 as compared with 31 - but apparently my weather site is wrong.

I will also grovel at your feet, if that would help...

Sorry, I came in on the tail end of the conversation and I was just curious as to what the plan was. Sounds like unfortunate events and timing, but it seems obvious that getting the rig was a high priority. And was the plan also to go traveling somewhere with Maggie in a month?
