One of my favorite movies of all time - I keep the dvd on the shelf next to my bed for quick and easy access.

    Love the opening lines:

"Saigon. Shit, I'm still in Saigon."

DO NOT watch the redux version - it is shit. Watch the original.

Today I signed up to take part in a boxing tournament. So I am going to try and drop a little bit of weight to fight against my friend :D

    Haha, no

he did the last one (mentioned a while back I went to this boxing ball). He will be there for morale support though :p

We sound like a right bunch of idiots, but boxing is really quite a fun sport if you wear all the headgear :D

DAMN... i got the redux version, but never bothered to find out what redux meant! just assumed it meant a digitalised version... what's the difference? it was sooo long ago that i watched the original and wasn't able to concentrate on it too much back then... what IS the difference? i may well go get the original if it is a meaningful difference...

i just bought myself some decent speakers for my computer and i've been listening to loads of music'n stuff today :)

My dad used to be a boxer when he was a teenager, when he was in the army. I've never understood the attraction myself.. must be a man thing

I just live life, i've tried all sorts. I figured boxing in front of a few hundred people, may as well stick it on the bill.

I love sports though, think that's quite obvious. On Saturday i'm watching the speedway in Cardiff and get to meet the riders, hoping to ask someone how I can give it a try. Motorbikes with no brakes, yes please :D

My brother and his girlfriend recently went to Silverstone and had a go on their circuit. Not my kind of thing, but apparently it's fun.

I'm quite boring, I think I get it from my dad. I have started to really enjoy Cricket, and bought him tickets for this summer (mainly so I can go along with him :D).

    cricket :frown:

My random fact, thinking of racing circuits. I was there when Henry Surtees (son of the famous F1 racer and motorcycle champ) was killed at Brands Hatch last year :(

Didn't see the incident, but saw him get the stretcher away. He was pronounced dead there I think, after he took a wheel to the head. I think that really sucks :(

Didn't hear about that I don't think. I don't actually pay much attention to F1.

    Poor guy :(

And, Oi! Cricket is fantastic :D
I only really watch a few - cricket, polo and rugby. You'll be saying you like snooker next

I played pool when I was little with my dad and brothers. I think playing it is better than watching it. But, my dad gets so excited about it, it's strange.

I still believe the caber toss, is just brilliant!

Watching it is great, you have to know the table and positional play to really appreciate the game for what it is :p
