It's gonna take me forever to dislike all the negative ginger posts, but I'm up to it.

 

i'm cautious there juuuust might be a stray alligator around here. there have definitely been some spotted just a few miles south. i'm kind of right on the edge of alligator territory.

up here there is absolutely nothing to worry about when hiking or swimming ...except for mother bears with cubs and very rare panther/cougars if you have little ones with you

yup there are black bear here too. and fairly rare sightings of panthers.

 

the panthers here are escaped illegal pets not native...very rare to see but they are definitely around

 

i often see a bobcat or two every year.

 

not sure about bobcats but there is lynx ..theyre rare to see too

 

my friend wrote a poem about bobcats a few years ago. I think I remember it.

TAVARES, Fla. (Associated Press) — Authorities say an inmate at a central Florida jail used a glitch in the facility's phone system to bond himself out.
The Lake County Sheriff's Office says 32-year-old Larry Stone discovered the glitch earlier this month. The phone system charges inmate accounts for calls but refunds the money if the call doesn't go through. But the system was reimbursing inmates twice for incomplete calls.
Authorities say Stone repeatedly made calls and hung up until he had more than $1,250 – enough to bond out of jail. Stone had been arrested in April on property-crime charges.
Stone was only free for a few hours before he was re-arrested. Officials became suspicious when other inmates tried copying the trick.
The software error has been fixed and accounts restored to their previous totals.

the funeral for the teen that was killed in my town was held at the local school because it has the biggest room in town...several hundred were turned away...parents were leaving to make room for the kids...it was a sad scene..line up around the block at the viewing...estimated 500ish people at the wake afterwards
