It has been very mild here, plenty of opportunity to put up wood for next winter but I find a new occupation has inserted itself into my routine. good day

 

If I'm not cutting firewood (and I'm not cutting for next year, this is all for right now, like straight from the saw, into the furnace) I'm working on the house... recently scraping the ceiling in the future music studio. Water damage is a terrible thing.

Afternoon coffee. It's chilly and drizzly.

I'm cooking for the cats and dogs; soon it will be time to chop it and mix it all together.

I bought Oranges from the discounted area in the store today. They put the really ripe produce in there. I'm going to dry orange slices to hang. We have a dehydrator I can drag out or I can do them in the oven. I've never done this before.

Beans are in the crock pot for Chili.

I bought a Ham to have with my family on Christmas Day.

I have a whole lot of pine cones I baked the bugs out of last night. They are all sorted by size. I'll probably work with them through the year for next year's decorations.

 

My dog was born one year ago today, my daughter made the dog a card. Pretty cute.

 

Will CBO gum make sense I thought it said gun the first time around and I was like what the fuck… sitting in line at the ferry on the city side… Going to stop and get a mini bottle of cinnamon corn whiskey…

I wasn't going to… Have you got a recipe for such a thing because they sound delicious and awesome… Besides they were out of fireball corn whiskey so I couldn't get any

 

Some of those dead trees I'm cutting are probably Elm... I have both Elm trees and Dutch Elm Disease, so that section got wiped out by that. None of the trees I'm cutting have bark so hard to ID them. 3 more down today and cut up one that had already fallen.


Antique tractor got some mud time... Not a problem, considering. Starting out on a grade with about 1/2 load of wood. Spun a little, back up about 2 feet, hit it again and right up the hill. Tires had about 3 inches of mud on them by time I got to the grass at the top. Major Balls... Could be it's new name.
