I'm in the process of applying for SSI. Today, I received notification that I'm to be in their offices on Tuesday with all manner of personal financial records for the past 19 months.

They want every thing imaginable including ridiculous shit like proof of how much my husband and I spent on food each month.

Really? Who keeps their grocery store receipts for 19 months just in case the government wants to see them?

Ridiculous fuckers.

 

I would say look up the records on my food stamp card..

 

I am going to tell them that and I'm going to tell them that the months we didn't have the food stamp card we ate shit.
