I tried growing mine out for a while. It made me look like a frumpy old geezer. I mean, more than I do now even.

Getting ready to hibernate? Except winter is summer there... That's what I want to do every winter - buy enough food and booze for the entire winter and never come out until spring.

That was the first word that popped into my head...maybe cuz I have lots of kids...

And there is nothing wrong with that, no matter WHAT anybody says.


rf: My boss gave me a bottle of Greek wine for Xmas, and I got her squat. And as further proof of my unfailingly evil character, I'm going to not tell my wife I got the wine, and drink it all myself. Well hell, if I told her she'd ask for some, I would pour her a glass, and she would take two sips and let the rest turn to vinegar.

 

Its 60 degrees in my house at the moment...I'm thinking about building a fire in the woodstove...

I survived a trip into town ...escaped with my sanity intact and i didnt even cut anyone off

to be fair i didnt enter the mall though...that would have just been ridiculous

 

I gotta drive to Leeds and back tomorrow.

Hope the weather isn't too bad. I hate driving in bad weather, especially since my accident.

 

I need a stiff drink and it's only 7:20 am...... guess coffee will do.

Nah ... he wants it to last him months. An actual cat would turn up its nose at three quarters of the flavours he's bought, and eat its way through the rest in a matter of weeks

Today, one of my 5 year old granddaughters showed me one of her crayon drawings and explained "perspective" to me. The drawing had a mountain in the distance and a monkey in the foreground and she told me why the mountain looked small without me asking or anything.

Finishing up the third week of the new job. Its going pretty gangster. I am getting some great experience in cad/cam and cnc programming. Now in contrast to the last year or more I am actually moving forward for myself. I had the skills and was primed to do well, but my employers were not developing that. Glad I said "so long" to them without burning any bridges and quickly found another excellent opportunity. To quote loosely from a second hand source: There's something to be said about knowing how to do something, and there's something else to be said about knowing how and why it is done that way.
