my moped story
mopeds were popular in the early 70s...i had several..my friends all had one...there was about 8 of us that hung out....we were like a biker gang except 14 and 15 years old..

we would ride down to the forest...about 100 acres of creek and trees in the middle of mississauga down the street from my house....

one day my dad was getting our pool ready for the summer....he told me to throw away the old tarp,a 40 by 60 piece of really heavy black plastic....instead we kept it and took it down to the forest..i rember it was so fucking heavy..took 4 of us to carry it to our spot and drap it over a 30 foot tree...it was great...we could park our mopeds right inside the tent..a huge ass teepee...but we wanted luxury so we hauled an old hydro spool from the adjacent dump into the tent for a table...small spools for chairs and some candles for ambiance when we smoked our blessings.....the table had a hole in it perfect for our torch as hot knives were popular that summer

everyone was jealous of our great fort but we only let mopedders and people with weed come in and we all swore each other to secrecy and to not tell anyone...we even had girls into our cool clubhouse...we ate in there too....it was maybe 40 yards from our subdivision..you could throw a rock over the trees and hit a house easy

so after a few weels we went down one morning...we could smell burned plastic as we approached...we got there and the tarp was all melted and stuck to the tree like a gloxe..the spools were all burned up as well a good sized area of the forest!...some one[not me] had left the candle burning the night before and our way cool spot was gone forever

Rollin's story made me feel all nostalgic

 

I'm going to watch Mary Poppins later this afternoon, and then Britain's Got Talent tonight. With some playing outside in between. Perfect Bank Holiday Monday I feel.

If there were gay muslims, then yes

That story line sucks. I hate Eastenders anyways, it's a little depressing for me.

 

I think they had the opportunity to help out gay muslims, but failed as usual and made it pretty crazy.

Although, I will watch the prison escape antics in Corrie

 

I don't watch Corrie either... I watch Hollyoaks

Teresa. Was a bit crap.

To be fair, I don't watch it anymore. I used to love it once, it's stupid now. Thinking about it, the whole 'gay' thing, to be fair, they did better than Eastenders with that John Paul story line.

But then Hollyoaks have a habit of playing the gay card a little too often

 

The annoying little blonde girl? I only knew about it, because it was all over Strictly Come Dancing

Eastenders makes everything too dramatic. It's get a little annoying.

just got back from town and i'm stuffed... prawns, rice, dahl, bread and sweet mango lassi... gonna get stoned with my mate who just got back from broadstairs...

 

wild fires over 600k away in Quebec have filled my town with stinky smoke
