They come through early in the morning.....before any of my 2 cats are out there...and my two cats have been out there, when they are out there, as well...and do not bother the turkeys at all....Turkeys are big and intimidate my cats, anyway...I know you hate cats. I heard it the first time you ever said it.
The turkeys probably do not stay here, as every time...a bunny even goes by outside.....5 dogs are barking like crazy in here, where I cannot even stand the noise.
My granddaughter's team took 1st Place at the tournament today. The championship game was rained out so they added up runs scored for the day. It was a fun day. I'm slightly sunburned but it'll turn brown. There was an awesome breeze all day; plus we finally got to use the canopy tent that my daughter and I saved off the beach last summer. Now, I'll have to put erect it again on Monday because we ended up having to put it away wet. It needs to dry out.
Bald eagles made the national news for eating kitty... This is where I LIVE.. https://www.washingtonpost.com/news/animalia/wp/2016/04/29/nest-cam-livestreams-bald-eagle-parents-feeding-a-cat-to-their-eaglets/
Wild turkey don't stay in one small area for very long unless it's a mother on her nest or with young. When they are around they are pretty elusive. Wild turkey and feral house cats have an understanding of sorts... not sure if an indoor/outdoor cat would understand, chances are it would be on the losing end of that deal.
my friends turkeys attack the tires of my 3/4 ton 4x4..while im driving.....they are not afraid of much
Once, I had 7 turkey wander across the road and into my yard. The cat was stalking them from under the car. I was really fearful that she'd run at them and they would attack her.
turkey may have eye sight better than that of bald eagle. natives respect turkey, but know their purpose in life to feed the living..
my mother was unfortunately one of those. except for the last line. if she hadn't heard of something, it couldn't possibly exist. fortunately she was not a religious fanatic. and neither was my dad. but they were both aries.
Awoken by a heavy duty thunderstorm with hail and everything. The dogs are settled down. I'm going back to bed.
The crazy neighbor was out with her flashlight shining it all in my son's yard and bushes Friday night while he was outside. Last night, she shined it all over me and my dog in my yard. Her Rottweiler wasn't on a leash and came into my son's yard toward us, when suddenly it decided to go after another dog that was being walked across the street. That dog belongs to a house guest. She and that neighbor had words after they put their dogs back in the houses. This woman will not learn. I saw on my facebook memories that it's been two years since I had to drive her grown daughter, her boyfriend, and her dog out of my yard with a golf club. In other news... It's wet, sunny and humid outside. That's all.
I feel for you as having not so great neighbours is a hassle that no one needs. It seems to go in cycles of being really over the top and then just normal crazy stuff. Makes you wonder what it is that triggers them to be so out there, maybe weather....... Goof off day here and light showers. It is greening up the grass so I am going to be fine with it raining!! My landlord is coming over and we will be signing a new lease. I am relieved that she is not selling right away after he died as it gives me more time to decide what i want to do long-term.
