Laying down a used carpet remnant in the "bedroom" portion of the studio... Temporary at best but it's gonna fit and the colors match. At some point that whole room needs flooring of some sort.

Soon'ish I need to build a daybed frame for the bed I don't have yet. Maybe I can put the bedspread I got for the non-existent bed on the bed frame....

I'm pretty beat today. Played a hometown show last night. We don't get to do that very often but lots of friends were there and my wife's brothers were in town....so that was pretty fun. They're probably as much or more my brothers than hers.

Funny moment from last night.....I was talking to a friend of mine when my wife walked over and told me that another friend....who is married....was trying to put the moves on this hot 20-something blond friend of my wife's. She was telling me that she told her friend the guy was married, etc. I said "Good job! Can we pleeeease take her home with us? She is so hot!! I really want to play with her." My wife said "We can take her home.....but he can't!" The look on my other friends face was fucking priceless! I don't know who he was more surprised by.......me or my wife. :)

    Hey Peeps!

Sorry about your landlord, Heather...his poor family.

Piper is doing great. Reading her recovery schedule, she seems to already be in the 2nd week of healing. It's going to be difficult to hold her back.

It's going to be my turn to sleep with her in the living room tonight. Last night, hubby had to sleep on cushions on the floor to get her to sleep. She just doesn't fit in the kennel with that cone. It gives her too much anxiety. Maybe she will let me sleep on the daybed and will lay in the floor beside me. She wouldn't for hubby...whatever, I'll do whatever it takes to get through this.

The girls are out of school tomorrow. I hope it's nice out so they can come over and play; otherwise, I'll be stuck at home with my canine patient while hubby sits with them all day.

Ty, so nice of you to put carpet in my guest space!

once an emulsion dries it needs an agent to dissolve it.....usually permanent....when i spill or wipe emulsion on my jeans while doing screen printing it stays forever.......

ink used for tshirt printing dries permanent after heat is applied......you can buy good fabric paint at any art store that is soft and fun to use and is air dry........

house paint washes out if you get to it quick

    :)

i wish you had asked earlier :)

    and you are welcome.......

also....any dye used for tie dye shirts can be used for painting directly onto fabric....the trick is to cut the dilution and make the watery dye slightly more concentrated......you can paint yellow dye over blue dye and get a nice green etc etc

I need to hide a key outside somewhere. I went to the gym earlier and forgot my keys. My wife and daughter won't be home until maybe around midnight tonight. I got home....all sweaty with no jacket....no house keys, phone or car keys. Luckily, one of my band mates lives across the street so he called my son for me. That could have easily sucked a lot more than it ended up sucking.

Edit.....I had a thought to go to the brewery and have some beers while waiting for someone to rescue me but I didn't have any money either.

that sounds almost pitiful (and foolish? :D)...I mean you had on your clothes and apparently you had your carkeys, and license, I presume...and that was IT, right? [IMG]

You have at least 1 grown kid, or is it 2? I say that because that tells me that you really do have more sense than this usually. lol

    dang Wiz smh :D

Just a fluke. Grabbed the wrong keys on a day when nobody else would be home.

Edit....I just realized I said I forgot my keys. I didn't actually forget them. I just forgot there was no house key on the set I picked up.

    It's so gorgeous outside! :sunny:

Piper is doing really well. Reading her recovery instructions, she's feeling at least a week ahead of schedule.

I feel like I've already said all this here...
