    diagnosis is in

air is escaping into exhaust manifold when at tdc with valves closed...so 95% its a bent or cracked/burnt valve

im leaning towards a very slight bend on one just based on clearances that i can feel...or possibly built up carbon on valve seat

wont know for sure until head is off

you know what i really want to see; rural high technology, without being inconsiderate of nature,
post ecopocalyptic worlds in which people DON'T go around trying to kill each other,
in other words; long past the time when those who would, have already killed themselves and each other off,
but populations are still small enough to have real freedom to build and explore without needing permits.

villages small enough and far enough apart and all different from each other.
the consensus of people living in each culturally different from those of nearest other villages.

nothing as big and heavy as cars as we know them, nor pavement everywhere to drive them on.

really small form factor 'trains' things that run on some kind of track, powered by solar, stored and clean sources of energy.

people would be amazed at what each other and themselves could do if we didn't expect and demand so much the same way
from each other and the world we live in.

and you know, that's what would be sustainable too.

Went for a five mile run today and got caught in a good old fashioned Texas gully washer. So I jogged the last two miles home soaked to the bone. Took my shirt off during the run, it was warm enough. I loved it. Nothing as good for the soul as getting soaked in the rain. It's best when you're naked. I do this all the time....go in the backyard nude when it is pouring. Then the best part is coming inside a nice dry warm house and drying off or having your wife do it.

I needed the run and the soak today to clear my hangover. I was over served last night when my wife and I went clubbing and dancing. Hadn't drank in a while. We both got more hammered than we expected, and spent $40 on a cab to get home. LOL.

Its raining here now...so the grass I need to cut in the backyard can be up to my knees when I am finally able to get the dang lawnmower to stay cranked so I can cut it. smh

I have a tomato, 2 pepper plants (red and yellow) and several herbs which, so far, are going good. I need to figure out something to put down so that the bugs will leave my basil alone!

Right now I'm drinking water flavored with lemon balm and sweet spearmint. Its really good and refreshing.
