Damn it.

The 5 year old and the dog awaken me by running up and down the hall, repeatedly.

I get up 'cause I need to pee anyway.

I make coffee.

Half way through the coffee, the kitchen clock comes into focus.

It's 4 hours earlier than I thought it was when I looked at the clock in my bedroom.

I am definitely having a hard time lately, as I've been through alot of personal things, but I am feeling better since I have the HF to call home.

 

The next significant thing that happens today is my daughter comes to me looking for the toilet plunger. She knocked a small tube of ointment out of the medicine cabinet into the toilet when it was flushing...

 

my wife loves greek yogurt, but i can't do it... too thick for me. i put it in smoothies though, lots of protein

 

Chobani is the brand I eat. I haven't tried any other. It's what my grocery store carries. I love the blood orange flavor.

 

Hopefully that tastes more like orange than blood...

 

It does taste more like fruit but not really what you'd think of as an orange.

Ear Ache...I'm going back to bed and reboot.

 

we buy the 'president's choice' brand, i don't know if they have it in the US. we buy this one because the only ingredients are skim milk and bacterial culture... some of the other brands have a list of a dozen random ingredients.

 

I conked out shortly after my last post. Only about a 5 - if I'd-a been in my bad old vodka days, it would have been all I could do to find the keyboard.

Once again - a word to the wise - big, loud, white-noise boxfan next to (or on) the bed. Helps delay the sounds of the pitter-patter of little feet until grandma has her coffee.

HF saved me.

I'm afraid the box fan won't help with that...

Ima have a look for some of that next time I'm in grocery...

That's strange, so did I. I've never had one here in almost 2 years...

 

I know exactly what you mean, and this place is very therapeutic at times, getting through things like this. I'm always here, if you want to talk or vent things out, it definitely helps. I'm going through alot myself, and HF has been a lifesaver, almost literally.
