pretty nice day out

so far i changed the gun liner in my mig welder then welded up a trailer hitch im making then welded up a snowblower housing that was coming apart

then painted the hitch...then installed two tubes into another snowblower because i was tired of always putting air in

now im just waiting for the paint to dry so i can test fit the hitch and notch the valance correctly

 

Sun is shining and windows are open!

 

Did some mowing.... Seriously.

 

sun just peeked here for the first time today

also...the way the weather looks i will need more fuel to boil all this sap i'm getting....stuff is just flowing out....4 pots on a rolling boil outside

Beautiful day today. Went and priced some things to remodel my kitchen if I ever get back into my house. Also looked at a few wood shop toys that I don't have yet. Once I move all of the stuff stored in the garage back into the house...the garage will be turned into my wood shop. I have about half of the things I'd like to have in there so far. I love wood working and building shit. I also did some dumpster diving in the driveway and salvaged a bunch of the old flooring and framing that was taken out of my house. It's all easily over 100 years old. I'll use that stuff later.

 

My husband has Carve Right and other stuff we need to sell. He bought them and never un-boxed them. I guess the shipping would kill us though.

 

So, my daughter told me that my 7 year old grandson set the neighbors bushes on fire today and she had to call the fire department...

 

might be old but i have been to countless shows and concerts where not one single person held up a phone to record the performance....kids today will NEVER know that feeling of or see it, experience a show without people holding up cameras

i juno awards are on tv and pepl are hoding up ipads....like the video will be better than the hd one at home on television

i hear schools are now banning people from recordingschool plays etc in favor of 1 device taping the entire show and then everyone wants a copy they can have it

cell phones have ruined the concert experience for me.. MK will probably be the last show I ever pay money to see. nothing else out there worth the money anyway.

many years ago, I had a skunk family living in an abandon groundhog den.. I was feeding them dog food out my hands. they would come up to me. not long til they could see me coming outside and would gather around me begging.. little stinkers.

My wife is going to drive me crazy tonight with this kitchen remodel. She's been at it for much of the day...measuring cabinets, etc. I appreciate her effort but she knows that math isn't her strong suit, she isn't doing the work and I will have re-measure everything, account for irregularities, etc. before we order anything. And NONE OF THIS IS HAPPENING TOMORROW! There is no reason to have an 8 hour conversation about it. Sigh.....but I love her so....

 

Is she on Pinterest? That site makes you feel compelled to do stuff, lol
