I tried that stuff once on my laundry tub and it would not stay stuck. Did the prep as directed and spent more time trying to keep it there than anything. Eventually I just caulked the edge. Drove me nuts.

I had to slice it here and there to keep it from pocketing water opening up in gaps. I waste so much caulking and glue on the carwash I could of had 20 bathrooms and 50 windows caulked already..

The weather is about to turn really nice in my neck of the woods. As much as I'm looking forward to it, it's really making us bust ass to get a bunch of things done before the ground thaws. Tough day today, tough day tomorrow. And I think I'm getting a cold so I'm kind of stuffed up and feeling a little hazy. Paperwork is piling up on my desk. New equipment delivered today wouldn't start (because it's diesel fuel in the cold). I don't give a shit. It can sit until it gets warm or we have time to install block heaters....or we can move things inside. And my wife is on my ass about our never-ending house project which is in "crunch time".

So...perfect. Actually, none of that really bothers me very much except for feeling like shit. If I could just shake this congestion and sore throat...I'd be fine. It usually only happens in the spring when the weather is about to get warm.

 

I just made a rare stop at FB to see what was going on. One of the first things I saw was an old HS friend posting about the rise of ISIS signaling the coming of christ...meaning that ISIS is needed. Seriously...shut the fuck up, you jackass!

If it wasn't for HF and an arborist site I go to, I wouldn't post a damn thing online just because...who cares? Why argue? I'm not changing anyone's mind. As a general rule, I doubt if most people give a shit about anything that I have to say on any subject and I don't care about all the political shit they post either...so what's the point? It's like I just scroll through thinking....ignore...ignore...ignore...ignore....hey...that's a cool video of some naked farmer sending himself through a hay baler!!

Friday yayday.......last day of being in charge of these three kids.....it was fun but i'm looking forward to my own bed.....I have a hard time sleeping at other peoples houses

I have never been to African lion safari or any other type of drive through animal viewing center.....who would pay to do that is beyond me?....there is thousands of videos of monkeys ripping pieces off cars....wipers etc......how could that be a fun experience to drie a car thrpugh lion shit?

 

It is fun for kids who otherwise can only see lions in a zoo. But the best is of course a drive through an actual african wild park (even with the chance of not seeing any lion, which would kind of suck but still). I would pay for that! Just go with a car of the park if you're worried about your mirror

That's curious One of my least fav things on comedy central. Some movies are funny but his comments and parodies are often quite hopeless and pointless and just not funny or adding anything.

 

I couldn't disagree more....he says it like it really is....he makes fun of stupid stereotypes...


but....people like different things...you and I are different...for instance.....I don't date fat women

He often enforces those stupid stereotypes just as well. He makes fun of everything but to me the approach he takes with that isn't actually funny AT ALL (rarely at least). This indeed depends on our sense of humor.

If I recall right you appreciated Married with children as well for telling/showing it how it really is. It is one of the other comedys I thoroughly dislike because I don't dig the stereotypes portrayed and the lame jokes about those stereotypes. Wether it is based on an accurate view on certain people does not matter. It is just not funny to me and that's what I mainly value in good comedy.
