changing your clock does not give you an extra hour of daylight......it doesn't work like that sweetheart

changing your clock just changes the time of day that the daylight occurs for you in your timezone.........we are gaining aprox 2-3 minutes of daylight every day at this time..........to gain an hour will take another month[aprox]

it translates to losing an hour of sleep for those people on strict schedules for work/school etc

 

im way ahead of the world


never bothered to change the clock last fall...so im all set

 

I dont have any clocks that dont change themselves..

 

only my phone and computer do it automatically

 

da y one complete....children in bed......surprisingly easy...............the middle one is a bit of a chatterbox so she took a bit of convincing haha

cheese thin crust pizza with a spinach salad....the oldest, 12, made the dressing....some kind of honey dressing....it was really tasty

littlest is on strep meds.....8.5 ml 3 times daily with an accompanying pill....

I don't as a rule exacyly love the city...but the ethnicity of Toronto is pretty awesome.....you know you are in an ethnic neighborhood when the sports bar looks like this and is called ''marias sports bar''

 

tomorrow we are going looking for cool graffiti....yhe new thing here is to paint your store outside with your own graffiti style art and then the taggers stay away from it

 

Hmm...I assumed you didn't have kids that young. For whatever reason...I don't know. I hope the youngest gets well soon though.

I hit the brewery for a couple earlier while my daughter was at dance next door (usual schedule for the week). I already had a couple and had my growler filled, my daughter had her after-dance root beer...and then I realized....I didn't bring any money or my wallet.

well, pardon me, honey bunches..... ....we still have 6 days left until Sunday...people can start to go to sleep 10 minutes earlier each night and by Sunday....they should have it.
For me...longer daylight hours is favored...to jog dogs in a park that closes at sunset, whenever that is. I rather they stay open until 7...when they close at 5, it gets pretty rough....and then in the summer....we are light until after 8....

Am I the only person in the world who prefers winter? I'm pretty sure I am...

 

I'm looking into working in the states for a while! Will need to do exams and prove I know some stuff, but it looks possible!

 

I like winter, but I would like it more if it ended about a month earlier.

 

I see why people love living in Toronto, but it just isn't for me. Visiting friends is enough for me. I like to have less going on all around me.

 

too busy and hectic here for my tastes as well...after this week I will have my city fill for another 6 months

whole wheat pancakes this morning.....lunches made...kids reasonably clean and dressed in vaguely matching clothes

no injuries or tears thus far.


I texted my kid and told her some of the things here are in the wrong place so I may need to rearrange her house and hope she kind find stuff....her cupboards are all ingredients.......some actual food prep is required here as opposed to rip open the box and spread some frozen crap on a pan to put in the oven

...now....1 off to the French school and the girls off to an alternative school they attend



also.....i'm in heaven as far as coffee goes here....besides starbucks there is half a dozen little espreeso places....one is called the Brockton haunt????
