    Ah, not too bad then.

37C is just too hot for me. I'm not a big fan of British summers, the heat is too much and there is no air. I am now usually away over summer, to try and avoid it!

I can't say I much enjoy it when its that hot... for all my bitching about winter... I like cold better... you can always put another layer on to keep warm.

About 22-24C is about right... you can get work done with sweating to death, and you don't have to wear tons of layers...

So for about 8 days a year, I'm happy with the weather... lol

Same here, it's easy to get warm, but much harder to cool down. You have a shower, step out and are hot and sweaty again.

It bugs me when the first little bit of decent weather comes round, people will go out in shorts and dresses, with not tops, like it's the some tropical island.

    Now that's just silly weather.

Yeh usual shite like, I told him "I hate maths because Im crap at it and Im going to live in a commune for the next two years of my life, my leaving cert results dont bother me as I feel that Irelands education system isnt a good way of evaluating how the rest of my working life will be and that the whole system disgusts me"

He was pretty impressed :p although I think I fucked up a few of the tenses but it wasnt too bad. He was too happy when I said France was one of the most unwelcoming countries Ive ever been in though

    Meant to say wasnt

And dunno what yer so riled up about :D just being honest...I dont think you had to hitch with a 6 foot tall ginger punk with a dreaded mohawk or a guy with a mandolin and a jew fro though. Yeah we had it pretty bad. Finally got out of that shit hole and into Belgium...Brugges is boring as shit tbh although we did get blindly drunk at our camp site...I woke up in a bog at 7am still drunk...having to hitch to Holland like that was rough...

We originally had no money but while they busked I just went to random bars and talked to people, ended up getting bought a few pints for being Irish (works everytime ;)...except in Ireland :p) and theyd made enough to have had a few pints by then...then we spent €12 on 8 cans of Amsterdam Maximater, really cheap 14% beer.

Dont remember the rest of the night...just woke up in the bog, went for a piss, fell over in the shitty soggy bog and fell asleep again. On my friends voice recorder (he used as a journal for the whole trip) we found recordings of us shouting at traffic, empty trucks and shitting on a mattress in the woods

    Yeah wicked times though :sifone:

In July, we get above 90 degrees F almost every day. The humidity is high also. Before sunrise, it only gets down to about 70. I dread July almost as much as January.

It depends what you go to Bruges for. I love it there, it's very quite and it so beautiful! The Christmas markets are great too. But, if you want a lot to do, it's probably not the best place to go.

That's over 30C I think. I don't think I would like that very much

But, I would love to go to go to the Southern states of America.
