Random Facts About You # 57

We're going to see the new Star Wars in 3D on xmas so we're in the process of watching all of them with our daughter before that. Two down tonight. I can't believe she hasn't already seen them all. It's my favorite series of all time. I still have Darth Vader hanging out from the curtain rod in my living room. But it is kind of cool to see her put the whole story line together in her mind as she watches and hear her commentary.

 

We're just having a little thunder now and then.

I think the NW part of the state was supposed to have storms.

 

i was invited to go see star wars tonight but i had a real bad headache so i said no

then i realized its probably hipforums that gives me these headaches

 

And I'm basically on vacation for the time being....until whenever I decide to go back to work. So I have time to watch the movies. I always say I'm going to be on vacation starting on Dec. 23rd or 24th and going until Jan. 2nd but I just get bored after a while if I'm not actually leaving the state/area and doing something. I can't sit at home for that many days.

 

I'm not like that lol. I can sit at home for weeks, months... Half a year. Hell I did that last year when I broke my right side of the body. I just watched tv and went online all day, played heaps of computer games and listened to music for 17hrs a day. It was awesome. The only thing that could make it more awesome was if I had a real job that I wouldn't have had to go to.

 

I already have a cam copy of the new star wars....probably watch it Christmas day.....buddy gave me a rip of it today...I think he said it has Spanish subs

 

What are the quality of those like? I can just think of the Seinfeld episode where Kramer goes to do it and laughs and points the camera everywhere and the quality must have been shocking. I also imagine that while the image might be sufficient, that the audio quality would be sub par?

 

I love being home and I'd be cool with that if I had something to do. But my hobbies only go so far. I wish I could never leave my house but the boredom would kill me.

But tomorrow I'm planning on starting the movies in the morning while I'm still drinking my coffee. I was going to go in order but my son suggested that we skip 3 and then come back to it later so my daughter can mentally experience it the same way we did. I actually do see the wisdom in that idea. But at the same time....maybe we should have just watched them in the order of their release.

I still can't believe that this little girl who is my daughter hasn't seen every one of these movies 5 times. Really?

Weather guys said we might break a record temp on Christmas day.

 

...it isn't great...it isn't even good....sometimes on these cam movies you cam see people walk by with popcorn and you hear people in the audience make cracks and cough etc....and like Kramer sometimes the camera bumps and moves....also.....you notice that people in china or korea laugh as a group much differently than north americans......kind of laugh with their native accent if that makes sense....it takes getting used to....usually by the midway point your brain kinda forgets[stoner] and its just another hbo movie

 

Sounds like you need acreage and only use wood heat... You would never be able to leave.



Oh and you gotta do it all yourself, no cheating.

I was burning firewood in the furnace for Yule, but that's tradition. It was nice being in the house and not needing to wear a jacket though.
