Taking off pretty soon to play a show tonight. It's the record labels end-of-the-year event/party/whatever. They told us they were "kind of building the night around your set". We play last. It's nice to feel appreciated but....we're also probably a pretty safe choice for them. There was no big gamble there but nobody on the bill is a gamble so it's cool that we're still headlining. Going to be a late night though. We don't start until 11:30. The older I get...the more I like playing the earlier slots.

 

Oh yeah....I'm rapping tonight too. Doing that Snoop Dogg song again. Second time ever. In one song....I should be able to offend almost everyone there who doesn't have a sense of humor.

Nah....it will be cool. I was much more worried about it the first time.

 

We had a fireball come into town last night.

It was actually in the two towns south of us, where the kids play ball.

!50 lbs, 50 miles high, moving at 29,000 mph

A little farther south 17 miles high moving at 9,000 mph before it burned up.

Maybe I'll find some meteorites.

 

many times Ive been playing in a open mic, Ill be doing the pink floyd acoustics, dead and dire jams and then all the sudden Ill play "Cheers" .. some times you want to go where every body knows your name. ..gets much LOLs and sing alongs...

So tonight...big stage, big moment. We were supposed to deliver. We did what we needed to do and we played for an additional 45 minutes or so. It really wasn't even that big of a moment. We've been doing this since we were much younger. It was just another show. It was just a show but it was a really good one. I'm very happy with we played tonight.

Edit.....oh yeah...and there was a fucking asshole who I might tell you guys about in the morning.
