Not all technologies are created equil

I would rather worship solar powered narrow gauge railways then christianity.

I like things, things I don't have to own, things that are free.

People are owned by things they think they own.

The only reason to own something is for it to still be there the next time you need or want to use it.

The land isn't going anywhere, and i'm not the only one using it, nor is my own species.

Humans would not exist if trees didn't.

The self dicipline of consideration is better then hierarchy,
which is what is caused by the lack of it.

The world isn't going to end, because it hasn't started yet.

It may start without humans.
If we don't pay attention to what we're doing to it and don't care.

Its the same copout to lump all technology together as to do so with people,
or the members of one race or followers of one ideology or belief.

If i'm doing that with aggressiveness, its because I don't know a better word for what I mean by it.

If people say freedom comes from what they believe, I have to wonder what they think they mean by freedom. Do they even think about it, or is the word just another symbol to keep their words going.

Freedom is what is there when nothing else is.
No people, no belief, and you might starve, but that is freedom.

I don't think that's the same thing as what people think they want.

I want to not worry that someone is going to kill or injure me if I don't pretend the same things they do.
And it doesn't matter to me if what those things are is christian, islam, buddhism or what have you.
And the same goes for ideology. Any of those either.

So I finally finished making the chain roller tensioner for the front chain on the WoodRat today. This allowed me to put the chain guard back on.

That was Erin's old cage from before the other house burned down.

It's getting there... Still needs a lot of work.

 

Nah....it's pretty awesome just the way it is. Anything more is just an addition to the awesomeness.

RF: Even though the weather is warmer than normal for December I'm still going through firewood. The woodshed is getting depleted quicker than I want to see. And.... we haven't even had real winter yet.

 

me too....way faster...I have a new load to work on this weekend though

update on baby stella......home from the hospital but still on a feeding tube..i will see her around xmas I hope....our family is so big and spread out now that no one house s big enough so we have split into 3 gatherings

Must be nice to have a new load of firewood. I've got what I've got for the duration.
