Did get it running again... Cylinder and piston is hella scored, but the ring looks okay. Pulled a chunk of metalic/plastic/something stuck in the exhaust port.

 

Glad that at least you have it working again as I know you are in the process of doing those trees before winter.

I see the new content page and I am sitting here laughing. Some one tried to tell me that new posters especially females do not like rough language and the disagreements. I would think instead anyone who found the site and the new content page was filled with what it is, might just not bother to even stay. But what do I know.

i bought a whole pork loin yesterday for $12....i couldnt believe the price

got 26 nice sized center cut steaks from it plus the ends chunks ill use for stir fry

id almost forgot about it ...just finished cutting them and sticking in the freezer


also felt a strange rumble earlier but with so many mines and quarries around i just dismiss it...turns out it was a 2.9 earthquake

 

The daughter's girlfriend just called me and told me about them breaking up tonight.

I saw this coming and called how it would play out.

It was a shock to have her call me at 11:30 pm. to tell me.

My emotions are all over the place with this one.

The plan was that my daughter and grandson would move in with the girlfriend in February.

The girlfriend has the better paying job so they were going to stay close to her work.

That would have put them 50 miles away from here. My daughter was going to have to change jobs, and the grandson would be uprooted from his family, school, ball teams, etc.

I was hoping when it came down to it that my daughter would not make this move.

Now, I'm glad that she will not be moving.

Still, my heart is broken. These two are really in love but I think they were doing wrong by planning to uproot my daughter and grandson to accommodate the girlfriend. I know my daughter's heart was being torn between the girlfriend and everything involved in her home being here close to family and her job.

They didn't break up over the move, though. They broke up over something silly, just like I predicted. I know my daughter

Ugh.

I'm sad for them but relieved that the talk of the foolish move is done with.

I hate this feeling.

Aeri it would be a good thing maybe if they look instead for a compromise, like the girlfriend either finds employment close to you or they do a half way type of thing. Sad if it can not work out but also better now then after the move and total disruption to lives that would cause.

Sometimes love is just not enough.

If it's worth it to them both, they will work it out.
