geared up to fix my power steering leak in the big truck

figured id have to buy a hose as the pressure line was leaking at the pump swivel fitting


went to remove it and it was way too loose ...turns out its not a swivel fitting on this model..it just needed to be tightened up for the o-ring to seal properly

2 hour job and $50 parts turned into 2 minutes and no money spent

 

my read out code thing is showing my cat converter is low efficiency...I have a evap sensor going....and something else....and my drive clean is in a month....might get a new/old car

 

That sucks rollin, but it might be cheaper than doing all the repairs. I think if it is the cv you can not do the conditional pass thing.

I called my niece Jaz again tonight and she is still weepy. I am going to go to Pembroke and get her for the weekend. I will take her back Sunday or her mom will. It works out rather well as Mia has her birthday on Thursday and Kieran has his on next Wednesday so I am going to do a family dinner then on Friday when she is home. It will be more fun and cheer her up.

 

im so glad we dont have driveclean up here...that program is such a waste of money its rediculous

my car says oil is 25%,, so I give it a quart, later it says get oil change soon.. we only need emissions if you put so many miles on the car and I dont so Ive an exempt sticker.

 

Here it is every second year and it does not matter how much you do or do not drive. You can not renew your plates without one being done.

Newer Chevys have a readout that tracks when to change oil, not the amount in the engine. After an oil change you reset the computer and it will read 100%.

I bought one these canisters of lysol for cleaning the toilet. I must of been high cause it goes inside some stupid wand thing. i dont have one. so I stuck the canister in the toilet and closed the lid a bit, and punctured with a knife....
BAD IDEA.
mountain of foam that would not flush ... smells clean but excessive..

 

yeah, Ive a change set up for tomorrow.. probably could of save 5dollars on oil just saying fuck it.

was pouring rain here today, it has calmed down now. Nice change of pace from the 90+ temps, although it was still in the mid 80's while pouring rain.

Damn dog went and rolled around in dirt/mud 6 FRIGGIN' TIMES TODAY!!!!!!!!
