I just put fish and sweet potato fries in my oven.....I mostly don't eat fish but decided this one looks good

I was sitting in the garage after doing some organizing, sweeping up all the sawdust, etc. when my daughter and a friend of hers came out and asked if we could build a birdhouse. So we did that this afternoon. They wanted it to look a bit rustic. Perfect! Some of those warped Walnut boards were great for a rustic birdhouse! I helped them design it, had them do all of the measurements themselves, mark the boards, etc. They used clamps, drilled pilot holes and screwed it all together. It was fun to watch them learn to use the tools and feel like they actually built something. No table saw action for them though. I did all the cutting. One birdhouse with an upstairs and downstairs unit...available for occupancy.

And I figured out another thing to use that Walnut for. I think I'll build some more birdhouses with it for the back yard. I love the birds.

 

Hahaha! When I read Aerianne's comment I thought "Eh....he was probably just stoned and didn't notice that."

 

playing with new tool today

its a $40 interface box dongle type thing that uses a laptop and pirated software to do things that only a very expensive scan/diagnostic tool will do (airbags/sam units/bcm/etc)..pretty neat it does all systems instead of just engines

already paid for itself on its first use

 

Today on my adventure to the dumpster, I found a lava lamp lamp!

 

that is so weird because this past weekend while visiting Alaska I had occasion to be in a dumpster and I lost my lava lamp


I will be needing you to return it

Wow! I cannot believe all that i did in 24 hours....and success once again for the guests.......last minute invites....so i only had 24 hours to whip things into shape. I became superwoman with powers i did not know I had....lol


Fun day and evening here...but ended with ghost stories being shared...and i am a little scared by the ones I heard tonight.....and then after the guests left...Champy screamed in his death cry...and I thought he was a goner again...he collapsed...but was brought back....but the screams were blood curdling....so after the ghost stories and Champy's episode...i am shaken up at the moment trying to calm down here and feel normal...before going to sleep...which I need.....I need sleep desparately......

everything is a bit greener and better smelling this morning...we did get a few showers last night finally....i'm very busy printing shirts all week so my gardening is falling behind

 

I love early morning....so very green and lovely.

 

Was waiting for rain most of the day yesterday... Ended up hooking two hoses together and watering the front patio garden myself. It's dry out there folks.
