RF: The bucks were back up here in the yard acting like it's time to mate all over again... Geesh guys, you just did that.

The flock of wild turkeys were doing the same thing...

    Shyt's all fucked up.

^^^ The most real, true statement I've EVER read regarding work, work environments, and people in general! :D

(Add in 25 years working in restaurants and since 2008 that I've been coming here, and that is relatively a quote from my journal!)

    oooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo

As recently as last week I was hearing owls behind and in front of the house all hours of the night.

I haven't seen them lately, and by that I mean its been about 3 months.

I haven't seen any snow owls in 15 years but for 5 years I regularly saw a large pure white owl (which looked like a snow owl) on the back way through the country to my son's school. After he graduated I would ever so often ride that way at the same time in the evening, and I did see him several (to many) times.

I heard on NPR today that this December had more moisture for our state than any other December in recorded history and November was the 7th most wet of any November recorded in our state. Luckily, it's been mostly rain and not snow or we could have at least a few feet of snow out there instead of whatever we have right now. It's also lucky that our town is on high ground near the edge of a fairly deep river valley....so water has somewhere to run and we don't get floods in town.

Got one of the "new to me" front tractor wheels painted on both sides, will finish the inside of the second one in a little while...

I just enjoy working on tractors in the house. Not! But it's too cold in the garage.
